The Bachelor/Bachelorette is one of the most successful reality television series on air. The ABC dating show first aired back in 2005 and has now grown into a hugely successful franchise with numerous spin-offs like Bachelor Pad, Bachelor in Paradise and Bachelor in Paradise: After Paradise. Contestants come on the show to find true love and hopefully meet their significant other. There have now been over 20 seasons of The Bachelor and 12 seasons of The Bachelorette, but most of the time the show doesn’t end with a happily ever after. More often than not these couples head out in to the real world and fail, but the odd time it works! Here’s a list of couples who met through the Bachelor franchise and are still together today!
10. Carly Waddell and Evan Bass
When Carly and Evan first met on season 3 of Bachelor in Paradise, it was definitely not love at first sight. These two had a very weird relationship from the beginning, but eventually Carly opened up to the idea of being with Evan after turning him down a few times and now she’s completely head over heels. At the end of the season Evan popped the question and now they are engaged! They both live in Nashville so Evan can be close to his three kids, and have remained steady since the show ended several months ago. In a recent interview with ET, Bass revealed they haven’t set a date yet, but the wedding will be sometime in 2017!
9. Tanner Tolbert and Jade Roper
These two met during season 2 of Bachelor in Paradise. Despite not finding love on the original Bachelor and Bachelorette series — Jade Tanner was season 19 of The Bachelor as she vied for Chris Soules rose, while Tolbert was on Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season of The Bachelorette in 2015. They were both optimistic when they went on Bachelor in Paradise and it paid off because they finished the season with a proposal. They are one of a few couples to not only survive the series, but actually follow through on their engagement! Tanner and Jade got married in January 2016 in a televised ceremony and are still together. The reality stars are building a home in Kansas City and appeared on the most recent season of Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars which aired last fall.
