Seth Rogen and Stephen Colbert have joined forces online, asking Donald Trump Jr to persuade his father to resign.
The two comedians have been sending the President’s son direct messages after learning he followed both of them on Twitter.
On Monday, Rogen appeared as a guest on Colbert’s The Late Show, where he shared the tweets he had already sent Donald Trump Jr.
Yo! @DonaldJTrumpJr! I noticed you follow me on Twitter. Please ask your dad to resign before he destroys the planet. Thanks dude.

“Yo! Donald Trump Jr! I noticed you follow me on Twitter. Please ask your dad to resign before he destroys the planet. Thanks dude,” was Rogen’s first message, in February, which he hoped would “open a line of communication”.
But the Knocked Up actor received “no response whatsoever”, and continued to troll Trump Jr by sending him several direct messages.
“Hey man! It’s Seth. Your father is trying to discredit our media, collude with Russia and destroy the environment. It would be super cool of you to be like ‘yo, dad, why don’t you stop all this and go back to being just a guy on TV.’ The majority of the world would be pretty psyched. Thanks!!!,” he wrote.
On Tuesday morning, both Rogen and Colbert shared on social media their attempts to get the businessman’s attention.
“Sup? Hanging with Seth Rogen. Why don’t you return his direct messages?,” Colbert wrote.
“How about we all chill together and burn one? Don’t tell James Franco.”
“Yo dude checking in,” Rogen wrote to Trump Jr shortly after.
“Seeing what’s up. I think you see these. If not Stephen Colbert was gonna help me get your attention. Hope you’re good. Maybe ask your dad to resign? Thanks man! Peace.”
